Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Yangon

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After some time to relax, proceed for a visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s most sacred Buddhist monument. Standing majestically above the city and adorned with gold leaf and precious gems, the pagoda is particularly stunning at sunset when it becomes beautifully illuminated. Enjoy the serene atmosphere before returning to your hotel.

Day 2 – Yangon City Tour

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Yangon’s most prominent attractions. Visit the historic Sule Pagoda, located in the heart of the city, followed by the picturesque Kandawgyi Lake, offering beautiful views and a peaceful setting. Continue to the impressive Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha, one of the largest reclining Buddha images in Myanmar. Later, explore the famous Bogyoke Market, known for its handicrafts, gemstones, traditional textiles, and souvenirs. The evening is free for leisure activities or independent exploration.

Day 3 – Yangon to Bagan

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagan, one of the world’s most remarkable archaeological destinations. Upon arrival, begin exploring the ancient city’s iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Ananda Temple, renowned for its elegant architecture and sacred Buddha images. Continue to the impressive Dhammayangyi Temple, the largest temple in Bagan, and visit local handicraft workshops to observe traditional lacquerware and artisan crafts. In the evening, enjoy breathtaking sunset views across the vast plains dotted with thousands of temples and pagodas.

Day 4 – Bagan Temple Exploration

Following breakfast, enjoy a full day discovering the extraordinary wonders of Bagan. Explore ancient pagodas, centuries-old temples, and peaceful monasteries scattered across the archaeological zone. Visit traditional villages to experience local life and gain insight into Myanmar’s cultural traditions. Guests visiting during the operating season may also choose to enjoy an optional hot air balloon experience, offering spectacular aerial views of the temple-studded landscape at sunrise. Day 5 – Bagan to Mandalay

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay, Myanmar’s last royal capital. Upon arrival, begin your exploration with a visit to the historic Mandalay Palace, once home to the country’s final monarchy. Continue to Kuthodaw Pagoda, famous for housing the world’s largest book carved on marble slabs, before visiting the revered Mahamuni Buddha Temple, one of Myanmar’s most important pilgrimage sites and spiritual landmarks.

Day 6 – Amarapura & Mandalay

After breakfast, visit Amarapura, a former royal capital renowned for its monasteries and spiritual heritage. Explore the area’s historic monasteries and witness traditional monastic life. Continue to the iconic U Bein Bridge, the world’s longest teakwood bridge, stretching gracefully across Taungthaman Lake. Later, visit Mandalay Hill, offering panoramic views over the city, surrounding countryside, and distant hills. Enjoy a spectacular sunset from the summit before returning to your hotel.

Day 7 – Departure
