From the vibrant capital of Bishkek and the pristine wilderness of Ala Archa National Park to the shores of the spectacular Issyk-Kul Lake, colorful canyons, traditional eagle hunting experiences, and scenic mountain gorges, this journey offers an unforgettable blend of nature, culture, and adventure.

Day 1 – Arrival in Bishkek

Arrive at Manas International Airport, where you will be welcomed by your English-speaking guide and transferred to Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. After check-in and some time to relax, embark on a city tour exploring the major landmarks of Bishkek. Visit Ala-Too Square, the Presidential House, the White Central Mosque, Oak Park with its sculptures and monuments, the National Philharmonic Hall, Old Square, Opera and Ballet Theatre, and bustling local markets. Experience the unique blend of Soviet architecture and modern Kyrgyz culture. In the evening, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay in Bishkek.

Day 2 – Ala Archa National Park Excursion

After breakfast, depart for the stunning Ala Archa National Park, located in the Tian Shan Mountains approximately 40 km south of Bishkek. Established in 1976, the park is renowned for its spectacular alpine scenery, pine forests, glacial rivers, and snow-capped peaks. Explore the picturesque valley and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Take a ride on the scenic gondola-style cable car that ascends from 2,166 meters to 2,494 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Spend time walking through the beautiful landscapes and capturing unforgettable photographs. Return to Bishkek in the afternoon and enjoy some leisure time. Dinner will be served at an Indian restaurant before an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 – Bishkek – Burana Tower – Bokonbaevo Village

Following breakfast, check out and begin your journey toward the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. En route, visit the historic Burana Tower, one of the most important architectural monuments of Central Asia dating back to the 10th and 11th centuries. Climb to the top of the tower for panoramic views of the surrounding plains and explore the small museum showcasing artifacts from the ancient Silk Road city of Balasagun. Nearby, view the fascinating Balbals, ancient stone warrior statues, and petroglyphs. Continue your scenic drive along Issyk-Kul Lake to Bokonbaevo Village. Here, experience one of Kyrgyzstan’s most treasured traditions with a demonstration by a Berkutchi, a traditional eagle hunter. Learn about the centuries-old practice of hunting with golden eagles and witness the impressive skills of these magnificent birds of prey. Enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation in a traditional guesthouse or yurt camp, offering an authentic nomadic experience.

Day 4 – Bokonbaevo – Skazka Canyon – Barskoon Gorge – Jety-Oguz Gorge – Karakol

After breakfast, continue your journey along the southern shores of Issyk-Kul Lake. Your first stop is the spectacular Skazka Canyon, also known as Fairy Tale Canyon, famous for its colorful red sandstone formations sculpted by wind and water into extraordinary shapes resembling castles, animals, and mythical figures. Enjoy a short hike through this unique natural wonder. Continue to Barskoon Gorge, renowned for its beautiful waterfalls and alpine scenery. The gorge is famous for waterfalls with poetic names such as Tears of the Snow Leopard, Old Man’s Beard, and Champagne Splashes. After lunch, proceed to the scenic Jety-Oguz Gorge, whose name translates as “Seven Bulls,” inspired by the dramatic row of seven red sandstone cliffs. Visit the famous Broken Heart rock formation and admire the stunning mountain landscapes. Arrive in Karakol by evening, where you will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and an overnight stay.

Day 5 – Excursion to Altyn Arashan Gorge

After breakfast, set out on an unforgettable excursion to Altyn Arashan Gorge, one of Kyrgyzstan’s most beautiful alpine valleys. Travel by traditional Russian military jeep through rugged mountain terrain to reach this pristine wilderness. Surrounded by towering peaks, dense forests, and lush meadows, Altyn Arashan is famous for its natural hot sulfur springs. Spend the day enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, soaking in the therapeutic hot springs, and admiring the spectacular views of Palatka Peak and the surrounding mountains. Enjoy a traditional lunch with a local family, providing insight into Kyrgyz hospitality and culture. Return to Karakol in the afternoon. The remainder of the evening is at leisure before dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Karakol.

Day 6 – Karakol – Issyk-Kul Northern Shore – Bishkek

Following breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Karakol. Visit the unique Dungan Mosque, built entirely without nails in traditional Chinese architectural style, and the historic Russian Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral. Explore the local bazaar and experience daily life in this charming mountain town. Later, travel along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake and visit the picturesque Grigorievskoe and Semenovskoe Gorges, two of the most beautiful mountain valleys in the region. Surrounded by alpine forests, crystal-clear streams, and spectacular mountain scenery, these gorges offer excellent opportunities for photography and relaxation. Continue your journey back to Bishkek. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant before an overnight stay.

Day 7 – Bishkek Shopping & Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day exploring Bishkek’s shopping and entertainment venues. Visit the famous Osh Bazaar, one of the largest and most colorful markets in Central Asia, where you can browse local handicrafts, spices, traditional clothing, and souvenirs. Continue to Dordoi Bazaar, TSUM Department Store, Bishkek Park, or Asia Mall for additional shopping opportunities. The remainder of the day is free for personal exploration, relaxation, or optional visits to entertainment venues and casinos. Enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant before returning to your hotel for your final overnight stay in Kyrgyzstan.

Day 8 – Departure

In the early hours of the morning, check out from your hotel and transfer to Manas International Airport for your departure flight. Depart Kyrgyzstan with unforgettable memories of stunning mountain landscapes, nomadic traditions, warm hospitality, and unique cultural experiences.
