Continue to Panfilov Park, home to the iconic Zenkov Cathedral, one of the world’s tallest wooden churches. Today, venture into the stunning Trans-Ili Alatau Mountains. Visit the famous Medeo Gorge, home to the world’s highest-altitude skating rink and a massive dam built to protect Almaty from mudflows. Continue to Shymbulak Ski Resort and enjoy a scenic cable car ride through three levels up the mountain slopes. At the highest station, take in spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, alpine valleys, and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Return to Almaty and enjoy free time for shopping or optional activities.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Almaty. This morning, travel to the picturesque Almarasan Gorge, a popular nature retreat located in the foothills of the Tian Shan Mountains. Overlooking the city, Kok-Tobe offers panoramic views of Almaty and the surrounding mountains.
