Day 1 – Arrival in Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the charming streets of Vietnam’s capital at your own pace. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2 – Ninh Binh & Tam Coc Excursion
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Ninh Binh Province, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on Land.” Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and explore its historic temples. Continue to Bich Dong Pagoda before enjoying a traditional sampan boat ride through the scenic waterways of Tam Coc, surrounded by spectacular limestone karsts and rice fields. Return to Hanoi for an overnight stay.
Day 3 – Hanoi to Ha Long Bay Cruise
After breakfast, travel to the world-famous Ha Long Bay. Board your cruise and sail through the emerald waters dotted with thousands of limestone islands and dramatic rock formations. Enjoy onboard activities, sightseeing excursions, and a delicious dinner while anchored amidst the stunning bay. Overnight onboard the cruise.
Day 4 – Ha Long Bay to Ho Chi Minh City
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the bay and enjoy breakfast while cruising through the magnificent landscape. Disembark and return to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Day 5 – Mekong Delta Excursion
Today, travel to My Tho in the Mekong Delta region. Enjoy a boat cruise along the Mekong River, visit local islands, coconut candy workshops, and bee farms, and experience the traditional rural lifestyle of southern Vietnam. Visit the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda before returning to Ho Chi Minh City for an overnight stay.
Day 6 – Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Tour
Begin the day with a visit to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War. Later, explore the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City including the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Chinatown, and the Jade Emperor Temple. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7 – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward flight, taking home wonderful memories of Vietnam.
