Day 1: Bali Arrival + Tanah Lot Temple
Meeting service upon arrival at airport then transfer to hotel for check in.
In the afternoon visit the most famous Bali island landmark of TANAH LOT TEMPLE. Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most important landmarks,
famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. An ancient Hindu shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing
waves; Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not‐to‐be‐missed icons. Afterwards we will take you back to hotel.
Day 2: Bali – Gili Trawangan Island (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Take fast boat from Bali to Gili Trawangan.
Upon arrival at Gili Trawangan and transfer to hotel by Cidomo (own cost) or walking to hotel around 10
minutes
Day 3: Free Program at Gili Trawangan (B)
Breakfast at hotel then free at leisure.
Day 4: Gili Trawangan – Bali + Uluwatu Temple (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Check out in the morning.
Transfer from hotel to the jetty by Cidomo (own cost) or walking around 10 minutes to get on board of fast boat to Bali.
Meeting service upon arrival in Bali then transfer to hotel in Bali.
Afternoon, we will take you to the Uluwatu Temple, which is an architectural marvel situated on the edge of a steep 300 foot rock facing the ocean. This temple has some of the most exquisite architecture in Bali and was first built in the eleventh century. There are numerous monkeys on the walkway to the temple, who are delighted to receive food from you. You shouldn’t have anything loose on your clothing or body, such as earrings, pens and glass‐cases and you should hold your camera bags tightly. These mischievous monkeys will quickly snatch them and will only give them back for a ransom (typically peanuts and bananas). Then you will proceed to the temple. This is a small and simple temple, but it is a good introduction to the style and function of the Hindu temples on Bali. Afterwards you can enjoy the sunset while watching the performance of Kechak Dance, which presents the Mahayana story with actors dancers, beautiful costumes and accompanied totally by the Kechak dancers‐singers (no gamelan orchestra).
After the tour we will drive back to the hotel where the rest of the evening is at your own leisure.
Day 5: KINTAMANI TOUR (B)
Breakfast at hotel. The perfect introduction to Bali’s fascinating culture and handicrafts, picturesque rice paddy fields, traditional villages and a spectacular lake and volcano. Your journey takes you to Batubulan, known for its stone carving and ornate temples, here you will see the exciting Barong Dance. A traditional dance that portrays the eternal struggle between good and evil, the religious and the profane and with a dramatic ending. Afterward visit Celuk the gold and silver making center. Then continue on through the woodcarving village of Mas. Watch artisans chipping intricate designs from wood blocks. Then visit the the holy‐spring temple in Tampak Siring before moving into the cool mountains of Kintamani. After the tour we will drive back to the hotel where the rest of the evening is at your own leisure.
Day 6: DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel then transfer to airport for your departure to the next destination.
