General Information about Acacia Safari

ITINERARY

DAY 01: THURSDAY NAIROBI – ABERDARES

Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transferred to the Somak Safari Lounge to freshen-up. Later drive north through the rich farming areas arriving at the Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch (180 kms). After lunch transfer to the Ark Lodge. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy excellent views of animals visiting the waterhole from the observation platforms of the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ark Lodge or similar (Meals included: Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 02: FRIDAY ABERDARES – LAKE NAIVASHA

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge. This morning depart and drive into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch (210 kms). Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 03: SATURDAY LAKE NAIVASHA – MAASAI MARA

After an early breakfast drive to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the camp (260 kms). Enjoy a late afternoon game-drive in one of the world’s finest game reserves. Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 04: SUNDAY MAASAI MARA

An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra, supplement cost to apply) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game- drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Leisure Camp or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 05: MONDAY MAASAI MARA

DAY 06: TUESDAY MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI

Return to Nairobi by road (300km – approximately 6 hours), or fly from the Mara to Nairobi: morning flight (supplement cost to apply). Light lunch/refreshments will be served at the Somak Safari lounge before final transfer to the airport for your outbound international flight or proceed with own chosen extension (Meals included: Breakfast)
