– Barakhan Madrassah, which accommodates the Clerical Board of Central Asian Moslems, and its famous Library, with over 30.000 books, 3500 manuscripts and the precious sample of the Holy Koran, written by the fourth Caliph Osman and bearing stains of his blood on its pages.

In the morning depart Bukhara and drive to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz (275 km, 4 h*). Stop in Shakhrisabz for the city tour. Visit:
– Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Saodat Memorial Complex,
– Remains of Ak-Saray Palace,
– Dor-ut Tilavat Ensemble with Kok-Gumbaz Mosque and burial vault of Tamerlane’s father.
Continue driving to Samarkand (90 km, 2 h*).
Arrive in Samarkand, check in to the hotel

This day we visit:
– Gur Emir Mausoleum (15th cent).
– Registan Square with three madrassahas (15th -17th cent)
– Bibi Khanum Mosque (15th cent) from outside and Siyob bazaar
– Shakhi Zinda necropolis (11th -20th cent),
– Observatory of Ulugbek (15th cent).
Transfer to R/W station for speed train “Afrosiyob” to Tashkent.
Departure to Tashkent.

In the morning, depart to Chimgan Mountains (80 km, ~2 h.). You will be driving the road lying in picturesque surroundings full of local villages, gardens, and streams. Visit a brand new Amirsoy resort. Ride the cable car to the Kumbel Ridge (2,300 m) where you can clearly see the surrounding mountains and the peak known as ‘Big Chimgan’ (3,300 m). Then transfer to the Chimgan camp site, where, if you wish, you can take a cable car to the observation deck of the Big Chimgan or ride horses along the gorge at the foot of the mountain. Continue to the shore of Charvak reservoir, surrounded by green mountain flanks. With numerous resorts, beaches, and children summer camps, The beautiful “Charwak” Lake, which is formed by joining of 4 biggest rivers which is the beautiful lake that’s supply Tashkent city and its region with water all year round.
Free time at Beautiful “Charwak” Lake at own activities:
Bowling;
Quadro cycling;
Billiard;
Water sports, like banana boat, scooter etc.
Drive back to Tashkent.
