10.30 Transfer to Mountain guided excursion. The first stop of the tour awaits you in the Medeo Gorge, where in the wonderful mountains of Trans-Ili Ala-Tau the largest high mountain skating rink in the world is located, view the huge dam, protecting the city from destructive mudflows formed on the tops of the western Tien Shan.
Next destination is Shymbulak ski resort. You will board the Cable Car (Fee Included till 3rd Level), to the ski resort with 3 Level, highest level located at an altitude of 2230 meters above sea level, also known as Talgar Pass. It is very popular for its mild climate, large quantity of sunny days and snow through the winter and remarkable scenery of mountain ranges.

Sart the journey towards Kolsay Lake (5 Hours’ drive)

Kolsay Lake is located on the territory of the Ili-Alatau National Park near Kolsay Lakes National Park. Located on the north slope of the Tian Shan Mountains, southeast Kazakhstan, the park is often referred to as “Pearls of Tien Shan”, the park’s main feature is the Kolsay Lakes located between the Raiymbek District and Talgar District of Almaty Region.
Free time at the resort for activities like Boating, trekking around the lake or horse riding.

Proceed to Kaindy Lake, one of the famous natural wonders of Kazakhstan known for the narrow trunks of the spruce trees that rise from its bluish colour water. The water of Kaindy lake is very cold (even in summer the temperature does not exceed 6 degrees).

We start our journey for Almaty and en-route we will stop will at the Charyn Canyons which are a natural complex of nature, unique in its kind not only in Kazakhstan, but throughout the world. It was formed in the era of the Paleogene and resembles the Grand Canyon of Colorado in North America, although it is inferior in size. The height of the steep slopes of the canyon reaches 150-300m. The extreme ruggedness of the relief strikes: numerous beams and ravines form a dense, disorderly network. You can admire the grand panorama and then have a walk through the maze of the “Castles Valley”. Wind and water created here the most beautiful “Valley of Castles” where you are always surrounded by whimsical towers composed of sedimentary rocks. The length of the valley is more than 2 km, the width is 20-80m.

Transfer back to Almaty.

10.00 Drive to Almarasan Gorge which is a popular place for tourism and simple walks among those who do not want to climb the peaks and just want to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature.
Visit Ayusai Centre and Bear Waterfall.

16.00 Proceed to KOK Tobe by Cable car. Kok- Tobe hill where the tallest TV tower in the world is located (if to count from the sea level) and where you will get by the picturesque winding mountain road. You can stroll along the magnificent panorama of the city from the special observation deck and visit the shop to “The Beatles” (the only one in CIS countries), visit the shop of national souvenirs and many other interesting things.
