After breakfast, proceed on an excursion to Mount Popa, a striking volcanic hill rising dramatically from the surrounding plains. Often referred to as Myanmar’s spiritual mountain, Mount Popa is home to an important monastery perched atop the summit and is considered the residence of the country’s legendary Nat spirits. Climb the steps to the top and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Later, return to Bagan and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
