Welcome to Bhutan. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your guide and proceed to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
En route, visit the historic Tamchog Lhakhang, a 15th-century temple accessed via a traditional iron suspension bridge built by the renowned Tibetan saint and engineer Thangtong Gyalpo.
Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure exploring the charming capital.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day exploration of Bhutan’s capital city.
Visit the Memorial Chorten, one of the most important religious landmarks in Bhutan. Continue to the impressive Buddha Dordenma, a giant golden Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Visit the Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s unique national animal.
Later, explore the Folk Heritage Museum and the Royal Textile Academy to gain deeper insights into Bhutanese traditions, craftsmanship, and culture. Spend the evening exploring Thimphu’s lively streets and local markets.
Overnight Stay: Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to Punakha via the spectacular Dochula Pass (3,100 metres), one of Bhutan’s most scenic mountain passes.
Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and visit the famous 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. Descend into the fertile Punakha Valley, known for its pleasant climate and beautiful river landscapes.
Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, widely regarded as Bhutan’s most beautiful fortress monastery, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.

Following breakfast, enjoy a day exploring the cultural and natural beauty of Punakha.
Take a scenic walk through rice fields and traditional villages to reach Chimi Lhakhang, popularly known as the Fertility Temple. Later, hike to the stunning Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, perched on a hilltop offering breathtaking views of the Punakha Valley and river below.
The remainder of the day can be spent exploring local villages, visiting a traditional farmhouse, or enjoying a peaceful riverside walk.

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful Gangtey and Phobjikha Valley, one of Bhutan’s most picturesque glacial valleys.
Visit the historic Gangtey Monastery, an important centre of the Nyingma school of Buddhism. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk along the famous Gangtey Nature Trail, offering panoramic views of alpine meadows, forests, and wetlands.
The valley is also known as the winter habitat of the endangered Black-Necked Cranes.

After breakfast, drive back to Paro through scenic mountain landscapes and charming Bhutanese villages.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The remainder of the day is free to explore Paro town, visit local cafés, or enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the valley.

After breakfast, embark on the unforgettable hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest.
Perched dramatically on a cliff face at an altitude of 3,120 metres, this sacred monastery is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark. The scenic trail passes through pine forests adorned with colourful prayer flags and offers spectacular views of the Paro Valley.
After descending, visit the ancient Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most revered temples in Bhutan.

After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight.
